Nirbhaya is just not a name in India.It stands for the pain and the failure of duties and cruelness towards the women. Nirbhaya never wanted sympathy from her society,but just a simple sense of humanity.The rape cases are still happening ,without an end.Mom is a movie which remembers us that ‘Nirbhayas’ still exists as ‘prey’ within our constitution.

The loop holes in the law proved to make things worse for Arya (Sajal Ali),a school girl in her teens who was brutally raped by a gang consisting of her classmate.Her step-mom Devki Sabarwal(Sreedevi) was never ready to stop her fight.She had her own ways.It was not about justice,but way to attain it.She also want to prove some thing to Arya,who calls her Ma’am even at home.

Devki ,with the help of DK (Nawasudeen),a private detective targeted the culprits in unique ways.She never thought about modern laws of justice and made sure that the culprits got their comeuppances.Mean while,Francis (Akshay Khanna) ,who previously handled Arya’s case sniffs some thing with the callous deeds around him.

There is no mystery element in the movie,but its surely a thriller which callsfor a debate upon the whole scenario.The tribal laws of justice ,according to many needs to be implied on such incidents.At least,the affected has a sense of disapproval towards the modern laws.

Debutant Ravi Udayawar,treated a sensitive subject sensibly,without taking off its signifance for the movie part and executed it brilliantly.Though,the appearance of Nawasudeen as DK appeared to be ersatz,he fared well in the role. Akshay Khanna also did well as the investigation officer.ARRs music added to the core feeling of the movie.Totally,the movie as a revenge-thriller is a good watch for its viewers or can be described ‘Toppissime’

The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ has got everything.From the ‘car”toon’ish gun fights,revenge,full packed action,Ryan Rynolds and Samuel L Jackson.Both the actors are in a mood to make it large with both foul-mouthed talks and fun-filled sequences!!

“This guy single-handedly ruined the word mother f***er!! That explains the total spirit of the movie in a single dialogue!!

The story is simple and plain as a pikestaff.A hitman, Kincaid (Samuel LJ) is on a run to Hague to give his testimony against an European dictator warlord Dukhovich (Gary Oldman) ,notorious for his genocidal murders.Though ,the Interpol provided everything for Kincaid to reach the Hague,a mysterious ‘mole’ inside the operations failed their ideas.Then,Michael Bryce (Ryan),’once-a-celebrated’ body guard to take him to Hague within a short time span.

The good thing comes then.Both Kincaid and Michael were long time rivals as both had different job roles in their field of operation.One was trying to protect his clients while the other consistantly tried to kill them.Apart from this,their rivalry had a mysterious part to find out from the movie itself.

Salma Hayek plays as Kincaid’s sexy- heart-throb.The way they fell in love was both naughty and stylish with a petty fight in a bar.Amelia (Elodie Young) is another important character who worked as an Interpol official.She played a pivotal role in bringing the “rivals” together.Were they be able to work together?Watch the rest of this adventurous,action, comedy

Overall,the movie is an unlimited package of entertainment.Those who have time to watch movies and spend some time without any other effort rather than have a small smile in scenes between,this movie suits you!!Watch it for the boisterous Samuel LJ and Ryan…

Who is unassertive of the actor-duo by the likes of Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan?’The Foreigner’ bestows an answer.May be Martin Campbell,the director of the movie ‘The Foreigner’ seems to be. The movie is based on a novel by ‘Stephen Laether’ by the name ‘The China-man’.The first impressions of the movie trailer revealed that there were less chances of it becoming a usual Jackie or Brosnan movie.

Plot of the movie is blended with political tensions and terrorism.Apart from the usual Hollywood flicks,the movie concentrated much to the Irish terrorism.At last,a movie without Russian mafia sponsored terrorism or Islamic terrorism.An old immigrant in London named Minh(JC)) drove his daughter to a shopping centre and a near-by bomb explosion resulted her death in London.

The controversial IRA (Irish Republican Army) claimed responsibility for tr he bombing.Then Minh,who lost his 2 daughters before in attack by Thai pirates had to leave his only surviving relative due to her death.Now he is on a killing spree. He is filled with vengeance.He tried his ways to reach the killer,but in vain.Then he came to know about Hennesey(Pierce Brosnan) ,Deputy-Prime Minister an antecedent supporter of IRA.The cat and mouse game then started.

Plot looked promising in every aspect with both the stars had space to perform.But instead of that,the movie showcased more on a plain story line which effected in mediocore output.Still there are glimpses of JC displaying his stunts at times.Yet Brosnan was felt sidelined with his wrongdoer role.

Watch it for the great stars sharing a screen.In the end,it became another ‘Broken City’ which was spoiled by the manner it was executed.I felt both the movies same as both ’em missed the x-factor to thrill the audience.

Did you ever watched a movie which turned out to be source of depression?’Am not speaking of the likes of the violently built slasher movies.A theme which was violent enough,yet never had a glimpse of graphical violence??Here,you have an answer in ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing,Missourie.

It’s a small town in US where a lady lost her daughter who burned after been raped.Mildred Hayes(Frances Mc Dormand),after months without a clue in her daughter’s murder had finally decided to put up 3 billboards to make her daughter’s murder to the attention.This really shattered a small community where everyone related to the case ,including cops were really affected.

The cancer affected Police chief,Bill Willoughby (Woody Harrelson),another cop Dixon ( Sam Rockwell) ,to even an unexpected contact in the whole scenario James (Peter Dinklage) had their on tolls.The movie can be related to Mildred as lady who was ill-treated by the authorities.On the other hand,one could find the stages that the related personnels went through.The movie is not a regular choice of an investigation flick.

But it had his upper hand on an emotional level among the characters.Everyone,believe me,the mystery surrounded around the murder was neatly narrated through all the characters.Even the dad character ,Charlie (John Hawkes) was able to show it in the screen.The cinematography represented a beautiful Ebbing. It looked like a town which ‘am living in and the one I would love too.Thus,a person who lives in such a beautiful,calm town never expects such a brutal incident happening around them.The blend is actually inpeccable compared to any other movie of the same genre.Lastly,its an ardous effort to find a better movie in the in the same genre!!

Obviously,an expected classic to be an Oscar material,for both the movie and Feances.One can never expect a better character like her in the coming days.It was such a burly narration of staunch performances .Cheers to Martin McDonagh to provide a hell of movie!!

‘I,Tonya’ is not a female version of Rocky or any other similar sports flick.It is not even a ‘Million Dollar Baby’ .Yet,it’s a sports ,bio movie.A movie which depicted the real life of a girl who made headlines with her attitude and incidents in life more than her expertise in figure skating.

A girl Tonya(Margot Robbie as the grown up),born as the the 5th child of La Vona Golden(Allison Janney) from her 5th husband .LaVona molded her into a fine athlete,but by odd ways like ill-treating her with abuse and severe beating at times.She was a wonder lady during her initial times on the rink.These all made Tonya be more stubborn than a normal girl of her age.Later she got into a relation with Jeff(Sebastian Stan).This raised problems between the mom and Tonya.Tonya later had a pretty odd life.

From being the first ever US figure skating lady to perform a 3 and a half axle to an athlete who became notorious of her un-ethical sportsmanship,Tonya’s life had everything on her cards.The movie directed by Craig Gillespie ,who himself directed a movie on Cricket ,Million Dollar Arm followed a different way of story telling this time The movie narrated as a mockumentary style interviews of the characters and their views on various incidents.

Laudable perfo from Margot Robbie and Allison Janey stood special among ’em all.Tonya had to suffer a lot in her life,both verbally and physically.That too,from the one’s whom she loved most part of her life,her Mom and husband.But she never cared for thosebthings more than an extend.All she knew was skating.She might be talented,had her moments.But she was away from apogee of her career.

Watch it for sumptuous perfo from the lead actors and for a melange of sports and drama!!

“What happened to Monday” a.k.a “7 Sisters” is yet another Netflix movie released recently.The theme of the movie seems a much ‘cliched’ one ,particularly discussing the dystopian worlds,as often mentioned in most of the Hollywood flicks.The story follows the same straight pattern of ‘world about to be destroyed-saviour-dramatic format.The trenchant factor which makes the movie worth watching is the provocative thought that lies towards the end of the movie.

The mammoth population increase compelled the authorities to take stern decisions for the survival of humanity.Mostly,due to genetic disorders the new births were more in pairs.The alarming rise in population lead to a new law.Couples are allowed to give birth to single kid and when there are more kids,the officials will take them and preserve in a cryogenic environment.The process was to give them a proper life when the poverty and scarcity of food comes under control.

Meanwhile,a mother gave birth to septuplets and soon after the delivery she was dead leaving them with her dad Terrence Settmann (Willem Dafoe).According to the law ,he could keep one and leave the rest to cryogenic preservation.But he had his own ideas.He decided to take care of ’em secretly in his apartment.He re-modified his place,gave the girls name denoting the days of a week as Sunday to Saturday.He taught them how to save themselves from the authorities,provided education and even made a schedule for them to go out to the world outside.Each of ’em can go out according to the week-day which represented their name.

It’s 30 years after the birth of the septuplets.Upbraid on the cryogenic preservation existed among the citizens.Mean while,a sense of umbrage among the grown up septuplets,provided their grand dad is no more to keep ’em calm.They have an identity by the name Karen Settmann and the “identical-looking’ ladies live their life for a day every week.It’s a crucial time in their life with career and on a Monday, the Monday girl Karen Settmann never came back.This changed the whole scenario.Then comes the question.What happened to Monday?

Then the movie’s mystery part is slowly revealed through the turpitude attitude of authorities,the emotions,the alter ego and defiant nature of the Karen Settmanns.The trite already created confusion and the surreptitious nature of cryogenic preservation slowly builds up it’s own cast around everyone.

Noomi Rapace did justice to her alter ego portrait of characters.At the end,when the mysteries are revealed raising up a question in the minds of viewers.This action-packed movie maintains an identity for itself with theme,resulting from the mysterious surroundings it covered.I still think that there is more room for movies narrating the dystopian worlds in the future too,provided with better execution. The movie ends on a note “Who was right and who was wrong?Actually ,is there an alternative way to face this problem effectively??”

Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) lost his job recently due to his legs,which were injured during an accident.To make things even worse,he came to know that his separated wife is moving to another place with his kid and her ‘new-husband’ .Jimmy got angry and went to his brother Clyde (Adam Driver),who was a war veteran with an amputated hand.He started planning for a robbery with a team involving their sister,Mellie (Riley),Joe Bang(Daniel Craig) ,a convict expertise in safe cracking of locks and his 2 brothers.Their catch,a high profile city around NASCAR circuit.Not the usual bank or locker robbery!!

‘Logan Lucky’ is a full fledged entertainer in every aspect.A revamped Channing Tatum appeared completely different from his action lad/handsome guy looks.Jimmy Logan will be in the list of his important roles of his career.Steve Soderbergh ,after coming back from an unexpected break presented another well executed heist movie after the smash hits ‘Oceans Eleven’ ,the sequels and the likes of ‘Out of Sight’ and others.Ocean’s 7 -Eleven may be a reference that you would find in ‘Logan Lucky’.Here,the movie at first raises doubts on the various actions by the characters.But,he embedded the story line right from the opening sequence like jig-saw puzzle.

‘Logan Lucky’ is a fine example of a heist movie perfectly blended with all the equations as represented in the first paragraph along with the extravaganza of a movie in the genre!!

2013 ലെ ‘ബോസ്റ്റണ്‍ മാരത്തോണ്‍’ ബോംബ്‌ സ്ഫോടനം ആസ്പദമാക്കി ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ചിരുന്നു.’Patriot’s Day’ എന്ന മാര്‍ക്ക് വാല്ബെര്‍ഗ് മുഖ്യ കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ചിത്രം ആ സംഭവത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ നടന്ന കേസ് അന്വേഷണം ആയിരുന്നു പ്രധാനമായും അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.എന്നാല്‍ ആ സംഭവത്തിനെ വേറെ ഒരു രീതിയില്‍,അതില്‍ ഇരയായി മാറിയ ഒരാളുടെ കാഴ്ച്ചപ്പാടിലൂടെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ചിത്രമാണ് ‘Stronger’.യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ സംഭവങ്ങളെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി ,സ്ഫോടനത്തില്‍ രണ്ടു കാലുകളും നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ജെഫ് ബോമാന്റെ മറക്കാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ആ ദിവസത്തിന് ശേഷം നടന്ന സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് ചിത്രത്തില്‍ ഉള്ളത്.ഇതേ പേരില്‍,ജെഫ് ബോമാനും,ബ്രെറ്റ് വിട്ടറും എഴുതിയ ഓര്‍മ്മക്കുറിപ്പുകള്‍‍ ആണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ജീവന്‍.

മാരത്തോണില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന കാമുകിയെ ഫിനീഷിംഗ് ലൈനില്‍ കാണാനായി കാത്തിരുന്ന ബോമാന്‍ എന്നാല്‍ അന്ന് നടന്ന ഇരട്ട സ്ഫോടനങ്ങളില്‍ ഒന്നില്‍ ഇരയായി മാറുകയായിരുന്നു.’കോസ്ക്കോ’യിലെ സാധാരണ ജീവനക്കാരന്‍ ആയ ജെഫ് എന്നാല്‍ കമ്പനിയില്‍ നിന്നും ലഭിച്ച ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പടെ ഉള്ള സഹായത്താല്‍ തന്‍റെ മോശം അവസ്ഥയെ നേരിടാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.അന്നത്തെ ദാരുണ സംഭവത്തിന്‌ മുന്‍പ് അയാളോടുള്ള മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ സമീപനം;പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും കുടുംബക്കാരുടെ,അപകടത്തിനു ശേഷം അയാള്‍ അവര്‍ക്കൊരു ബാധ്യത ആകും എന്ന് കരുതിയ നിമിഷങ്ങള്‍,പിന്നീട് ‘Boston Strong’ ന്‍റെ പ്രചാരണത്തിലൂടെ നേടിയ താര പരിവേഷം അവര്‍ മുതലെടുക്കുന്നത്.അങ്ങനങ്ങനെ അയാള്‍ ആ ചുരുങ്ങിയ കാലയളവില്‍ കടന്നു പോയത് ധാരാളം അവസ്ഥകളിലൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു.

ജേക്ക് കണ്ണുകള്‍ വളരെ പ്രാധാന്യത്തോടെ തന്‍റെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന നടന്‍ ആണെന്ന് പലപ്പോഴും തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.അലസമായ കഥാപാത്രത്തില്‍ നിന്നും ഇരയായും നിസഹായനായും എല്ലാം അഭിനയിക്കാന്‍ ആ കണ്ണുകള്‍ തന്നെ ജേക്കിനു ധാരാളമായിരുന്നു.പല ചിത്രങ്ങളിലും അയാള്‍ തന്‍റെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ കൊണ്ട് അവിസ്മരണീയം ആക്കിയിട്ടും ഉണ്ട്.അയാളോടൊപ്പം കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ ചിരിക്കാനും കരയാനും ചിലപ്പോള്‍ പ്രേക്ഷകന് സാധിക്കുന്നത് ആ കണ്ണുകളിലൂടെ ആയിരുന്നിരിക്കണം.

രണ്ടു കാലും നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട അവസ്ഥ തരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന വെറും ഒരു ‘ക്ലീഷേ’ ,’ഫീല്‍ ഗുഡ്’ സിനിമ അല്ല ഒരിക്കലും ‘Stronger’.പകരം,ഇത്തരമൊരു വിഷയത്തെ അമിതമായ പൊക്കി പറച്ചിലുകള്‍ ഇല്ലാതെ വേറൊരു കാഴ്ചപ്പാടില്‍ ആണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ മൊത്തത്തില്‍ ഉള്ള അവതരണ രീതി.തന്നിലേക്ക് വന്ന താര പരിവേഷം അയാള്‍ കാണുന്നത് വൈരുദ്ധ്യാത്മകമായി ,തനിക്കു സംഭവിച്ച നഷ്ടത്തിലൂടെ ആണ്.പലപ്പോഴും അയാള്‍ക്ക്‌ സ്വയം നിയന്ത്രിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ പൊട്ടി തെറിക്കുകയും അയാളുടെ ആകുലതകളും ഭയങ്ങളും വേട്ടയാടുന്നും ഉണ്ട്.ചുരുക്കത്തില്‍ അതി മനോഹരമായ ജീവനുള്ള,എന്നാല്‍ സ്ഥിരം രീതികള്‍ അവലംബിക്കാതെ,ഇത്തരം അവസ്ഥയില്‍ ആകുന്ന ഏതൊരാള്‍ക്കും ജീവിതത്തോട് ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നിക്കുന്ന അവസാന സംഭാഷണ ശകലങ്ങള്‍ മനസ്സില്‍ തങ്ങി നില്‍ക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും.അതൊരു ഓര്‍മപ്പെടുത്തല്‍ കൂടിയാണ്.ലോകത്തില്‍ ദുരന്തങ്ങളിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോകുമ്പോള്‍ അതില്‍ എങ്കിലും നമ്മള്‍ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കല്ല എന്ന സന്തോഷം.

അടുത്ത് കണ്ട മികച്ച ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ഒന്നാണ് ‘Stronger’.നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ നല്ലത് പോലെ ലഭിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും പരാജയ ചിത്രമായി മാറാന്‍ ആയിരുന്നു വിധി.എന്നാല്‍ പോലും ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ എന്ത് ആണ് അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചത്‌ എന്ന് വ്യക്തമായി പ്രേക്ഷകനെ ബോധിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ചിത്രത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.

ഈ അടുത്ത് കണ്ട ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ചതായി തോന്നിയ ഒന്നാണ് അയര്‍ലണ്ടില്‍ നിന്നുമുള്ള ചിത്രമായ ‘The Young Offenders’.ഡാര്‍ക്ക് കോമഡികളിലൂടെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം ആസ്പദം ആക്കിയത് ഒരു യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ സംഭവത്തെയാണ്.അയര്‍ലാണ്ടില്‍ നടന്ന ഒരു കൊക്കെയ്ന്‍ കള്ളക്കടത്തും ആയി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് ചിത്രത്തിനാധാരം.സ്വന്തം ജീവിതത്തില്‍ ഏറെ കുറ്റങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തുന്ന രണ്ടു ടീനേജ് കുട്ടികള്‍,അവരുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ നേടാന്‍ വേണ്ടി ഒരു വളഞ്ഞ വഴി സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു.

പതിനെട്ടു വയസ്സില്‍ താഴെ ഉള്ളവരുടെ കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നിയമം നല്‍കുന്ന ‘പരിരക്ഷ’ മുതലെടുക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു ജോക്കും,കോനോറും.ചെറുപ്പത്തില്‍ തന്നെ പിതാവ് മരണപ്പെട്ട കോണോര്‍ അമ്മയുടെ ഒപ്പം ആണ് താമസവും ജോലിയും.സദാ സമയം മകനെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന അമ്മ,അവരുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ അവസ്ഥകള്‍ കാരണം ശരിക്കും വലഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.സമാനമായിരുന്നു ജോക്കിന്റെ അവസ്ഥയും.അമ്മ മരണപ്പെട്ട ജോക്ക് മുഴുക്കുടിയന്‍ ആയി മാറിയ പിതാവിന്റെ ഒപ്പം ആയിരുന്നു താമസം.സ്ക്കൂള്‍ പഠനം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം, ടീനേജ് കാലഘട്ടത്തില്‍ ഏതൊരാളും സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നത് തന്നെയായിരുന്നു അവരും കണ്ടിരുന്നത്‌.എന്നാല്‍ സ്വന്തം വീട്ടില്‍ നിന്നും മാറി താമസിക്കുവാന്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് പ്രശ്നം പണം ആയിരുന്നു.

അമ്മയോടൊപ്പം മീന്‍ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന കോനോറിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തുന്നത് ജോക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു.നില്‍പ്പിലും നടപ്പിലും സ്വന്തം സ്വഭാവത്തില്‍ പോലും കോണോര്‍ ,ജോക്കിനെ അനുകരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കെ അയര്‍ലണ്ടില്‍ നടന്ന ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കൊക്കെയ്ന്‍ വേട്ടയെ കുറിച്ച് അവര്‍ അറിയുന്നു.ആ സംഭവത്തില്‍ നിന്നും പണം ഉണ്ടാക്കാം എന്ന് അവര്‍ കണക്കു കൂട്ടുന്നു.ഏകദേശം 7 മില്യന്‍ യൂറോ ആണ് അവരെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.എന്നാല്‍ അവരുടെ സ്ഥിരം കുസൃതികളുടെ ഫലമായി വന്ന ശത്രുക്കള്‍ അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി ഒരു കൊലപാതകത്തില്‍ പ്രതിയായി മാറേണ്ടി വരുന്ന മുന്‍ സൈനികന്‍ യീവോ ഹൂന്റെയും അതില്‍ തന്‍റെ ജീവിതവും ഔദ്യോഗിക ജീവിതവും അപകടകരമായ അവസ്ഥയിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോകേണ്ടി വരുന്ന ഡോക്റ്റര്‍ ടെ-ജൂനിന്റെയും കഥയാണ് The Target എന്ന കൊറിയന്‍ ചിത്രം അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്‌.സമാധാനപരമായ ജീവിതവുമായി പോയിരുന്ന ഡോക്റ്റര്‍ ടെ-ജൂന്‍.അയാളുടെ ഭാര്യ ഗര്‍ഭിണി ആയിരുന്നു.

ന്യൂട്ടന്‍ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നത് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ബ്യൂറോക്രസിയിലെ ന്യൂന പക്ഷത്തെയാണ്.ന്യൂന പക്ഷം എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോള്‍ ,സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ജോലി എന്നത് രാജാവിനു സമം ആണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഭൂരിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ മറു വശം.ഒരു സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഓഫീസില്‍ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ മുതല്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്ന “സാര്‍” വിളിയില്‍ ആത്മപുളകിതരാകുന്ന ഭൂരിപക്ഷം.ജോലിയില്‍ സമയ ക്രമം പാലിക്കാതെ,അനധികൃതമായി സ്വത്തു സമ്പാദിക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന സമയ നിഷ്ഠ പാലിക്കാത്ത ഭൂരിപക്ഷം.ചുരുക്കത്തില്‍ ഒരു സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ജോലിക്കാരനില്‍ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ‘ക്ലീഷേ’ സ്വഭാവങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ എതിരാണ് ന്യൂട്ടന്‍.

നൂതന്‍ കുമാര്‍ എന്ന പേര് ന്യൂട്ടന്‍ എന്നാക്കി മാറ്റിയ അയാള്‍ പല മുന്‍വിധികളെയും മാറ്റി മറിയ്ക്കാന്‍ ആണ് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്.പ്രൊബേഷന്‍ ഓഫീസര്‍ ആയ ന്യൂട്ടന്‍ ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ഒരു മുന്‍വിധിയെ മാറ്റാന്‍ അവസരമുണ്ടാകുന്നു.

നക്സലുകള്‍ക്ക് സ്വാധീനമുള്ള ഛത്തീസ്ഗഡ്‌ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ അപകടകരമായ സ്ഥലത്ത് നടക്കുന്ന ഇലക്ഷന്‍.വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ശേഷം ,പട്ടാളത്തിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തില്‍ ആയ സ്ഥലത്ത് നടക്കുന്ന തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ ഓഫീസറായി പോകാന്‍ ആരും താല്‍പ്പര്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കാതെയിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ആണ് റിസേര്‍വ് ആയിരുന്ന ന്യൂട്ടന്‍ അതിനു തയ്യാറാകുന്നത്.ഇലക്ഷന്‍ നടക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലം,സമയം എന്നിവയില്‍ എല്ലാം നിഷ്കര്‍ഷത പാലിക്കുന്ന ന്യൂട്ടന്‍,അവിടെ ഇലക്ഷന് വേണ്ടുന്ന സംരക്ഷണ നല്‍കാന്‍ നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആത്മ സിംഗ് എന്ന പട്ടാള ഓഫീസറും ആയി പല രീതിയിലും അഭിപ്രായ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു.ജനാധിപത്യം നിഷ്കര്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന രീതിയില്‍ തന്നെ നടത്തണം എന്ന് കരുതുന്ന ഓഫീസറും,മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ സുരക്ഷയ്ക്ക് മുഖ്യ സ്ഥാനം നല്‍കുന്ന ആത്മ സിംഗും മികച്ച രീതിയില്‍ തന്നെ ആണ് അവരുടെ മേല്‍ നിക്ഷിപ്തമായ ജോലികള്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്.ഈ സമയമാണ് ഇലക്ഷനെ കുറിച്ച് ഉള്ള പരിപാടി തയ്യാറാക്കുവാന്‍ വിദേശ ലേഖകര്‍ വരുന്നു എന്ന വാര്‍ത്ത ലഭിക്കുന്നത്.അതോടെ സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ മാറി മറിയുന്നു.

ന്യൂട്ടന്‍ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം നന്മയുടെ ഒരു വശം ആയി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത് എങ്കിലും.അയാളുടെ ചില പ്രവര്‍ത്തികള്‍ പലപ്പോഴും പ്രായോഗികം അല്ലായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തോന്നി പോകും.പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും ആത്മ സിംഗ് ,സുരക്ഷയില്‍ ആകുലത പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ന്യൂട്ടന്‍ തന്‍റെ നിലപാടുകള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി നില്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ പ്രായോഗികതയും നിലപാടുകളും തമ്മിലുള്ള സംഘര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു.രണ്ടു പേരും ശരിയായ രീതിയില്‍ അവരുടെ ജോലികള്‍ തന്നെയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്.എന്നാല്‍ അതില്‍ പ്രകടമായ,ആരുടെ പക്ഷം ചേരണം എന്ന രീതിയില്‍ ഉള്ള സംശയം പ്രേക്ഷകനിലും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.

സാധാരണക്കാരുടെ ജീവിതത്തില്‍ പേടി സ്വപ്നമായി മാറിയ കൊള്ളക്കാരുടെ സംഘം പിന്നീട് രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരെയും കൊല്ലപ്പെടുത്തി തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ സമ്മര്‍ദത്തില്‍ ആയ പോലീസ്,അത്തരം കൊലപാതകങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അറുതി വരുത്താന്‍ ഉള്ള നിര്‍ദേശം ലഭിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ നടത്തുന്ന അന്വേഷണം ആണ് “തീരന്‍-അധികാരം ഒന്ട്രു” എന്ന കാര്‍ത്തി ചിത്രം.”ബാവരിയ ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍” എന്ന വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടേറിയ പോലീസ് ദൌത്യത്തിന്റെ സിനിമാവിഷ്ക്കാരം ആണ് ചിത്രം.ഏ ഐ ഡി എം കെ എം.എല്‍.ഏ ആയിരുന്ന സുദര്‍ശന്റെ മരണത്തോടെ അന്നത്തെ തമിഴ്നാട് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ആയിരുന്ന ജയലളിതയുടെ നിര്‍ദേശ പ്രകാരം ഇന്‍സ്പെക്ട്ടര്‍ ജെനറല്‍ ജങ്ങിദ് കൊലപാതകികളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം ഉണ്ടെന്നു മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ ആയിരുന്നു ‘ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ ബാവരിയ’ പൂര്തീകരിക്കുന്നത്.
